What a way to spend a long weekend!

Well Jason and I both got our wisdom teeth out this week. I know not very smart, but my dental insurance drops the end of this month because I am going part time. So we had to take the dates they had available for us. We did this before we realized it was a holiday weekend let alone one of the last! So on Thursday the 28th Jason went in the afternoon to the dentist to get his out, then I went into the oral surgen Friday afternoon. My parents had offered to come take Reddek for the weekend, but Jason said he would feel good enough to take care of him. Luckily we both have felt great! I got really swollen and look like a cow, but Jason's didn't get too bad.
We even felt good enough to go to church...I looked silly with huge checks, but Reddek wanted to go so bad he kept saying "a church and eat bread".

I love my little one :)

I just had to share this cute video of Reddek doing a song for his dad! It is in the car because that is the only place he wants to sing. He doesn't get all the actions but he wouldn't do it again... don't mind the voice I am not much of a singer!!!

Dog Attack!!!

My little niece got attacked by my little brother's a dog last week. They were at my parents helping with their deck and Jadelyn was playing with dodger when they start hearing her scream and dodger bark and growl. They said it looked like a dog fight he was on top of her and he bit her while she was crying he got in side her mouth and right under her eye. She is a brave little one she went to the emergency room and got stitches under her eye and in her mouth and on her lip. I thought she was going to be terrified of dogs now but when they got back from the hospital and she said "where’s dodger?" She ran around looking for him. So then we thought she didn't really know what happened, but she came up to our house a couple days later and she said "a dodger got jade!” and pointed to her cuts. She is lucky and it is so weird because Reddek and Jade have always played with dodger and he seemed to be really good with them but something changed…so my parents have to put him to sleep and Logan feels really bad for Jade and for dodger.

Lagoon Day!

Well this last Saturday was my birthday!!! I know I am getting old :( But Jason's whole family was planning a Lagoon day that day which was perfect. For those that know me I LOVE the crowds so I was happy to be with so many on my special day. There are nine kids in his family so there was a huge crowd which made it so fun. We all of course couldn't hang out all day together because you want to do different stuff so we met for lunch and then continued to ride. There was 5 of us families that stuck together most of the day and it was nice then Reddek got to hang with his cousins and usually there was somebody that didn't want to ride so we could ditch Red with them...bad I know, but Jason and I both love the rides so it makes it hard to have a kid that stops us so we are thankful for the family members that helped out with that. I love wicked!!! This is the second year that we have been there when it was there...it is now my favorite ride. So fun, I also like the rocket-re-entry...i was suprised I am the only one out of our group that likes that ride. Jason, Chad and Kori went on it with me but Jason and Chad were both scared of it and Kori had never been on it and Chad and Jason told her she probably wouldn't ever do it again...which I don't think she will! But we had a great time and thanks to all those that remembered my birthday I got some nice cards and presents. Jason let me go shopping for myself which I loved! I am very picky on clothes and that is what i wanted so it worked out perfect. It took me alot of convincing to let me do that but I won and I am so glad. i think he thought I would be mad or something like he didn't do anything but i would rather pick out my own thing. Thanks Jason I love you:) He also took me to a nice dinner and had his sister pack treats to lagoon for me and they all sang so it was perfect. The night before we got to watch my four cute nieces it was fun so here is a cute picture of all them...it made me realize I could handle more kids than just Red!

They were all so good and I love spending time with them! (especially without their mom) just kidding but it helps me get to know them a little better. Andria and I usually end up talking while all the kids play this way I get to talk to them!

Can you tell how excited he is? He is a very cautious kid so it kind of suprised me how much he loved all the rides he didn't get scared at all and wanted to do them all even the big ones that we went on he would say "mom, mom, kaie, me do it that one" Kids get so fun when they are this age and learning to talk. I love him so much and am so glad we can take him to do fun things we know it is a blessing Jason was telling me that he didn't get to go to Lagoon until he was almost a teenager so he was happy for Reddek...he gets excited to see his son do fun stuff and get excited about it. I love my little family :)

Of course it was super busy nice weather and the last Saturday before school so we did alot of waiting in lines. But there was enough of us that we just talked and it really went by fast and it was a good way to catch up with everybody. I love the one of Collyn and Reddek they are such studs...they loved the rides!

Reddek loved the train ride...all day he kept asking to go on it because you hear the choo choo about every five minutes. He was so glad when Jason and I stopped going on big rides so we could take him on the choo choo. We are still getting use to having a kid with us we are use to going just for us so that was an adjustment.

New Baby!!!

Well this last Saturday we had a family party to celebrate the birth of my new Great Nephew Lowynn Sprague...that makes me old doesn't it? He is Jason's nephew's baby. Anyway...we had a baby shower combined with a family bbq. It was really fun not everyone could be there but we have a big enough family that even when some don't show up there are still lots. The guys made us hamburgers and hotdogs then they were suppose to leave and go play ball but i guess we were too much fun they stayed there and cleaned up while we painted wood decorations for the new nursery...then of course gifts after that. I am so blessed to be married into such a fun family. I remember when Jason and I were dating back in highschool i kept thinking if we brake up can i still hang out with his sisters? Well luckily we didn't brake up so i get to have them my whole life...i don't know how happy about that they are but I am. Lots of people think i am crazy that i get along with my inlaws so well but i do they are all so great. And the new baby Lowynn is such a cutie. Most babies are ugly (you all know they are) but Lowynn is not like that he has dark skin big eyes and just a cute face. We already love him even though he is so young. Proud grandmas...Teresa and her grandson Lowynn and Tammy with Kayson her grandson. These are Jason's two oldest sisters.
Proud Great Grandparents this is their second great grandbaby.
Liz said ya a family photo since Lowynn looks alot like Jason and Liz...jason said that is sick! But they would make a cute family:)
He is so cute!!! This didn't help my baby hungriness..i don't think that is a word but it works right?!?
Sister in law Teresa, niece Trista (mom of new baby), and Tammy other sister in law

Sister in law Liz, Me, and niece Kalli (liz's daughter)

I couldn't find Reddek for a while and then spotted him with grandma gulping down Pepsi...i wouldn't give him any but he knew where to go...you got to the love grandmas.
All of us at the shower and Jason being a dork as usual!

Grandma and her two cute boys...they both love her so much.

Red was pretty tired by the end of the night...and he was really sick of his hat even though it looks so cute :)

Children's Gardens at Thanksgiving Point

Last week we went to the children's gardens at Thanksgiving Point. I hadn't ever been there and I LOVE IT! It is a fun place to get away for the afternoon. For all of you that haven't been there they are doing $2 Tuesdays and it is so worth the $2. Andria, Denise and I had a nice visit while the kids just ran played and explored. At the end there was a stage where the girls (Kennady, Sydney, and Jessica) all performed for us...it was really cute. We are so lucky to live close to family so Reddek can grow up with all his cousins. He absolutly loves Avery and Collyn. I love my sister in laws also---we have some good times :) Yep we even took time to smell the flowers!!!
The boys loved the waterfall.

Reddek and Avery watching Collyn have all the fun in the water...they were a little scared at first. (isn't her pose so cute!)

Collyn - Reddek - Avery ~ BEST FRIENDS!!!

all of us that went :)
