wow life is good:)
still need to update about Christmas, New years and everything in between...but i am not!

Life has been good lately! The cold keeps me inside slows me down and lets me spend lots of good quiet days with my boys. The cold doesn't stop Reddek...him and his cousin are out everyday if it isn't absolutely FREEZING or snowing out there. They love getting snow clothes on and exploring in the cold with bright red noses and frozen toes. They come in sit by the fire and drink their hot chocolate while watching a show, makes me wish i was a kid again:) Rulon stays in with me...not by his choice i am sure he would much rather be out with the boys! He loves watching them run gets him excited. But i think he loves the alone time with his momma too. He is growing up so fast and we are falling even more in love with the little kid. I try to soak up every minute I have with my boys because time is going by so fast. I know I won't have this time forever so we try to enjoy bath time, reading time, hide-n-seek, and yes even those crazy times when i think my house is going to fall apart from all the running and screaming. ENJOY YOUR LIFE!!! I try and remember someone will always be prettier, someone's house will always be bigger and cleaner, someone will always be skinnier, just enjoy what you have:) cause when i think about it i wouldn't change what i have for the world...and i am sure none of you reading this would! wish i had photos of my cuties...just picture the cutest blond haired boys and those would be them:)

Over Thanksgiving brake my whole family went to DISNEYLAND!!! (yeah my parents rock) It was so much fun. Above is our Thanksgiving dinner...at a Restaurant our first time probably our last. It was nice all of us being together for a week.

I felt horrible, but thought he is tall enough didn't think about it being scary.
The boys loved the hotel...Reddek calls it his Disneyland house!

Rulon did a whole lot of this...but he was really good didn't fuss at all.

Love little ones :)

We were all sick yesterday so we missed church and had a great family day! I went and laid down with Rulon about 10 am then woke up at 11 feeling guilty...but found jason and redd sleeping in redd's bed...so i went back and cuddled with Rulon again! We all sleep for a good 3 hours. It was great i love those times you get to cuddle with your little ones and they actually fall asleep by you! Jason and I were both feeling pretty lucky, not only to get a nap in middle of the day but to cuddle by our boys! We were eating dinner soup yummy when your throat is killing. Reddek and I had a cute conversation...where do the kids come up with such stuff?!?
Reddek said "mom I don't have magic eyes anymore."
I asked "what are magic eyes" kind of laughing waiting to see what super hero has magic eyes.
he answered "I use to could see everything now just Rulon has magic eyes."
"What could you see? Rulon has magic eyes now?"
"I could see everything even Heaven and Jesus! Now Rulon just has magic eyes."
"Really Redd? Are you sad you don't have magic eyes anymore?"
"no it's ok I am big now, but Rulon will have magic eyes until he gets big"

I love that kid! He makes us laugh all the time and sometimes he even makes us think. Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving...we will be eating Thanksgiving dinner with the Disney characters...Redd and his cousin Jade will be having the time of their lives! We are so excited...pictures of our trip will be coming:)

I can't believe it has already been a year since you entered into our family! We feel so blessed to have you...I can't say a year ago on November 5th was one of my best days. It was scary and sad...I fell in love at first sight but that is all I got! The nurses rushed you up to the Nicu, they said it would be for a couple hours and that went on all night finally they told us you would be up there for a while. We didn't get to hold you your first night in your new world. We got to go see you and you were so perfect! We watched you lay there and get strong...we didn't get to hold you until you were 3 days old! That is not easy for parents of a new beautiful baby...but we are so thankful to all the wonderful doctors and nurses that took care of you! It was a long 9 days while you were in the NICU and we traveled back and forth...I am pretty sure you didn't spend anytime there alone, just at night. But looking at you today you would never guess you had such a rough start into this world. You are louder than most! You cruz around like crazy! Laugh so hard and pull some funny crazy faces:) I feel so lucky to have you as a healthy little one year old. We love you:)

we have a TON of great family...we had a family party for Redd and Ruel on Sunday after their birthdays! Rulon got spoiled also...thanks everyone:)

tHe BiG 4 fOr ReDdEk

Reddek turned 4!!! WOW his life has went by so fast:) 4 years ago on November 2nd was one of the best days of my life. He has grown up so much and has been excited to turn 4.

This year we had his first "friend" birthday party! He loved it...he was so excited for all his friends to come play and 12 crazy boys and 2 cute girls was REALLY FUN and crazy:) I am lucky enough to have a great mom come up for the day and help me entertain the kids. He got spoiled from all his friends and family...we are so lucky to have such great people in our life. THANKS!

Four years ago I became what I am... a mother (I hardly remember what I was before). I feel bad for the oldest kid I think I learn from being his mom but he is patient with me and shows unconditional love for all of us. He is the best friend you could ask for...always wants everyone to be happy, shares so well with everything and everyone, he listens very well and doesn't like to be in trouble so tries to do the right thing. We love you Red and feel so lucky to be your parents:)

Oh the month of NOVEMBER!!!

We are not very good at spacing things out...Reddek's birthday is November 2nd on my older sisters birthday and Ruel's is NOvember 5th! The week of their birthdays was a crazy one:) But it turned out great. MOnday family night, Tuesday Reddek's friend party, Wednesday Young women in excellence, Thursday SYTYCD tour!!! Friday Ruel's birthday Saturday VT interviews and a youth temple trip...Sunday a family party for both boys! Jason was great to help out it was a fun busy week. Pictures and details coming from the parties!!!
November is also our anniversary and thanksgiving! This year we are going to Disneyland for Thanksgiving we are so excited!!!

Well it has been about a month since my last update...a lot has been going on:) Our schedule is more busy now that school has started. I work every morning now and monday and wednesday afternoons. I have been missing my boys...and I think they have been missing me too!

Rulon is now 11 months old yesterday! This 11 months has flown by. Our family loves him:) He is crawling everywhere (for a while now) and he pulls himself up to EVERYTHING! He loves to climb the stairs...still needs to learn the safe way to go down them. He is the BEST sleeper in the world:) makes mom and dad very happy. Reddek was always a good sleeper too just nervous that we weren't going to be so lucky twice in a row. I think Ruel has to be the cutest boy around. He loves watching the older kids run around. He lets us know when he is hungry! He is a blessing:)

Reddek is loving school! He is the smartest in his class ( I know because I am the teacher:) he is also one of the oldest and went a little last year too so he had a head start. He has been playing basketball with his dad lately and loves it...also corrects me when i shoot. He is a pro at his big bike now we just need to take the training wheels off. He is always making us laugh. The other day we had two cousins over Collyn and Avery. Collyn and Red were jumping from the top of the couch (i know they are crazy boys) Avery attempted and fell and got hurt. LUCKILY SHE WAS OK. Red looks at me and said "mom sometimes girls just can't do what boys can do" couldn't help but laugh.
In class we had three wishes his was something like this...

1. wish we could fly a kite
2. wish we could ride a choo choo train to a BIG train station.
3. wish we could ride a rocket to Santa Claus's house.
so funny! 3 year olds are the best...if i could freeze time i think right now would be a good time to freeze. I love cuddling with my boys when they are tired, reading them books watching them laugh and run around like crazy! (that is what you get with boys, always CRAZY) I don't know how many times a day I clean up toys in the living room, Red's room, my room and the tv room. AT LEAST 10! Some days I think it would be nice to just have the toys stay put away for a day...but I know I will miss this as they get older (at least that is what I tell myself to not go crazy) Or i should just let them be and clean it all at the end of the night...make me less busy!
