Let go and have fun!!!

So today I just had to let go and have fun!!! I have been really stressed out at work and have so much work to do so I have been bringing it home with me which Jason hates. I was at a store yesterday and I noticed a cute little frame with a saying in it. I can't remember exactly what it said, but bascially that your dirty house laundry, dishes etc. can wait, but your kids grow up and they don't wait for you so...excuse my dirty house my work that isn't done but I am going to play with my kids while they are young and want to play. Nothing else in the world matters as much as your kids. I feel bad because alot of the time I am just trying to feed them and then lay them down so I can do the things I need to get done. Since I have been only working part time(well suppose to be part time but has turned into full time) I think I need to have the house all clean and dinner going by the time Jason comes home. Well after I read that I realized that I need to just enjoy the kids while they are young and you will make time to get the things around your house done. I am so greatful that I have a cute little boy that just wants to play with his mom and dad when we are home. I also feel so blessed to watch Collyn everyday so Reddek can have a friend and I can watch him grow. So yes I am sitting in a house with dishes in the sink a stack of papers from work in front of me and I just ignored it and played with the kids. So all the moms out there you don't have to get everything done today just go enjoy your kids. They won't wait for you...they will grow up!

Reddek and Collyn Playing in the pool! (Jason for some reason got them the bright pink one)

OLD FRIENDS!!!

Our friends from high school came up this weekend. Jason and Cameron played ball together non stop from about eigth grade on...they still like to get together and play. Cameron also married someone from Sterling (BreAnn Fowles) now we have boys that are about 7 months apart. It has been fun to get together with them. They are moving up closer to us next month and we can't wait!!! Maybe Reddek and Braden can grow up and be ballin buddies like their dads.
BreAnn and I have also been friends since grade school...it is nice to have a couple that Jason is friends with the guy and I am already friends with the girl. She is pregnant with their second baby and it is a girl. We are excited for them.

THANKSGIVING POINT

Reddek loved riding the pony!!!
Jadelyn riding the horse!

FATHER'S DAY!!!

I am so thankful for my dad and love him so much! He is so caring and always trying to help us out. He is so funny all he wants is all his kids to be home again. I guess he will have to wait until we get to heaven. Dad thanks for always being such a great example. I really enjoy our]talks and spending time with you. Reddek loves his grandpa! (well he might love his truck a little more, but you come with it)
Jason thanks for being such a great dad and husband. I really wonder what I would do without him. Especially now that we have a house I realize now how much I need him not only for the love and support, but also to help with the little things...yesterday our smoke alarm kept going off and I had no clue what to do so I just left with Reddek and when he got home he figured it out. It is so funny how men and women are so different. Well Jason I love you and I hope Reddek turns out just like you! I feel so lucky to be the one you chose to spend the rest of your life with.

Well I am late of course, but Happy Father's day to all the dads. I hope every dad got spoiled! Well we had a great father's day weekend. My parents came up and stayed with us a couple days and on Saturday we all went to the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was so beatiful...makes me realize I need to do some major work on my yard. It was nice to spend the day with my dad and Jason. Luckily they get along great sometimes I think my dad likes Jason more than me. Well he at least always takes his side.

On Sunday we got to spend some time with Jason's step dad. We all went down to their house for a bbq. It is so nice to have such a close family on both sides, I can't express how much we love them and are thankful for everything they do for us.

Kids just waiting to go on some rides.

Collyn Reddek and Avery riding the car...They loved it one of their favorites and it seemed pretty boring! Collyn looks kind of angry because his dad took his cheeto away right before the ride.

Fun Day At the Fair

Reddek and Avery went on this little boat ride. They were both laughing and they liked it when we cheered for them as they came pass. After this ride we left and Reddek was crying of course saying again with Avery. So to calm him down Jason told him okay after we go home and take a nap you can come again. Well he calmed down and fell asleep for a good two hours. We got busy with yard work not remembering about the promise we had made. Reddek woke up and the first thing he said was " dad Ravry go again"...so needless to say we had to take him back. Avery had already went home so we just went on the rides with him and he didn't love it as much. He kept saying "Ravry".

Reddek and Jason went on the Farris Wheel. We were a little nervous to put Red on this one, but he loved it! He would laugh when they started going down. He was pretty funny to watch.

Kalon

Kalon is doing great still living in Idaho...trying to get him home but hasn't happened. He keeps training and getting better wanted to share a video of him not sure how so lets see how this works :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnXeK6CPnUQ

DADDY !!!

Jason got to stay home with Reddek one morning while he was sick, since it was payroll and I couldn't miss. Now the last week Reddek has really been loving his daddy!!! When Jason gets home he won't leave him alone following him either feeding him fake food or giving him a book to read. Reddek is a hard kid to get to smile but his dad does it pretty easy!
Reddek has been trying to say everybody's names...we were at a baby blessing and my niece Avery was sitting on Jason's lap and Reddek was sitting next to them. Reddek was eating snacks (of course it is sacrement it is the only thing to keep him quiet) he would eat one and then hand one to Avery. This went on for quite some time...if he noticed that Avery was done before he was he would give her the other half he just bit off. Well Avery started paying attention to something else but Reddek was still eating and trying to hand Avery one. He leaned over trying to hand it to her she didn't notice he leaned a little further still nothing so he finally yelled "RAVRY" she looked over and grabbed the snack. I thought it was so funny he tried to say her name and now that is what she is called at our house ravry.

He also learned my name "kaie" so this last weekend if I was ignoring him by him saying mom he would say "kaie"...it was so funny so now he calls me "kaie" hopefully it doesn't last too long. He has learned Parris (says that one pretty well) he calls Joe Boe, Logan Wogan and Jason Ason. Getting there still has a ways to go.
