Love little ones :)

We were all sick yesterday so we missed church and had a great family day! I went and laid down with Rulon about 10 am then woke up at 11 feeling guilty...but found jason and redd sleeping in redd's bed...so i went back and cuddled with Rulon again! We all sleep for a good 3 hours. It was great i love those times you get to cuddle with your little ones and they actually fall asleep by you! Jason and I were both feeling pretty lucky, not only to get a nap in middle of the day but to cuddle by our boys! We were eating dinner soup yummy when your throat is killing. Reddek and I had a cute conversation...where do the kids come up with such stuff?!?
Reddek said "mom I don't have magic eyes anymore."
I asked "what are magic eyes" kind of laughing waiting to see what super hero has magic eyes.
he answered "I use to could see everything now just Rulon has magic eyes."
"What could you see? Rulon has magic eyes now?"
"I could see everything even Heaven and Jesus! Now Rulon just has magic eyes."
"Really Redd? Are you sad you don't have magic eyes anymore?"
"no it's ok I am big now, but Rulon will have magic eyes until he gets big"

I love that kid! He makes us laugh all the time and sometimes he even makes us think. Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving...we will be eating Thanksgiving dinner with the Disney characters...Redd and his cousin Jade will be having the time of their lives! We are so excited...pictures of our trip will be coming:)

I can't believe it has already been a year since you entered into our family! We feel so blessed to have you...I can't say a year ago on November 5th was one of my best days. It was scary and sad...I fell in love at first sight but that is all I got! The nurses rushed you up to the Nicu, they said it would be for a couple hours and that went on all night finally they told us you would be up there for a while. We didn't get to hold you your first night in your new world. We got to go see you and you were so perfect! We watched you lay there and get strong...we didn't get to hold you until you were 3 days old! That is not easy for parents of a new beautiful baby...but we are so thankful to all the wonderful doctors and nurses that took care of you! It was a long 9 days while you were in the NICU and we traveled back and forth...I am pretty sure you didn't spend anytime there alone, just at night. But looking at you today you would never guess you had such a rough start into this world. You are louder than most! You cruz around like crazy! Laugh so hard and pull some funny crazy faces:) I feel so lucky to have you as a healthy little one year old. We love you:)

we have a TON of great family...we had a family party for Redd and Ruel on Sunday after their birthdays! Rulon got spoiled also...thanks everyone:)

tHe BiG 4 fOr ReDdEk

Reddek turned 4!!! WOW his life has went by so fast:) 4 years ago on November 2nd was one of the best days of my life. He has grown up so much and has been excited to turn 4.

This year we had his first "friend" birthday party! He loved it...he was so excited for all his friends to come play and 12 crazy boys and 2 cute girls was REALLY FUN and crazy:) I am lucky enough to have a great mom come up for the day and help me entertain the kids. He got spoiled from all his friends and family...we are so lucky to have such great people in our life. THANKS!

Four years ago I became what I am... a mother (I hardly remember what I was before). I feel bad for the oldest kid I think I learn from being his mom but he is patient with me and shows unconditional love for all of us. He is the best friend you could ask for...always wants everyone to be happy, shares so well with everything and everyone, he listens very well and doesn't like to be in trouble so tries to do the right thing. We love you Red and feel so lucky to be your parents:)

Oh the month of NOVEMBER!!!

We are not very good at spacing things out...Reddek's birthday is November 2nd on my older sisters birthday and Ruel's is NOvember 5th! The week of their birthdays was a crazy one:) But it turned out great. MOnday family night, Tuesday Reddek's friend party, Wednesday Young women in excellence, Thursday SYTYCD tour!!! Friday Ruel's birthday Saturday VT interviews and a youth temple trip...Sunday a family party for both boys! Jason was great to help out it was a fun busy week. Pictures and details coming from the parties!!!
November is also our anniversary and thanksgiving! This year we are going to Disneyland for Thanksgiving we are so excited!!!

Well it has been about a month since my last update...a lot has been going on:) Our schedule is more busy now that school has started. I work every morning now and monday and wednesday afternoons. I have been missing my boys...and I think they have been missing me too!

Rulon is now 11 months old yesterday! This 11 months has flown by. Our family loves him:) He is crawling everywhere (for a while now) and he pulls himself up to EVERYTHING! He loves to climb the stairs...still needs to learn the safe way to go down them. He is the BEST sleeper in the world:) makes mom and dad very happy. Reddek was always a good sleeper too just nervous that we weren't going to be so lucky twice in a row. I think Ruel has to be the cutest boy around. He loves watching the older kids run around. He lets us know when he is hungry! He is a blessing:)

Reddek is loving school! He is the smartest in his class ( I know because I am the teacher:) he is also one of the oldest and went a little last year too so he had a head start. He has been playing basketball with his dad lately and loves it...also corrects me when i shoot. He is a pro at his big bike now we just need to take the training wheels off. He is always making us laugh. The other day we had two cousins over Collyn and Avery. Collyn and Red were jumping from the top of the couch (i know they are crazy boys) Avery attempted and fell and got hurt. LUCKILY SHE WAS OK. Red looks at me and said "mom sometimes girls just can't do what boys can do" couldn't help but laugh.
In class we had three wishes his was something like this...

1. wish we could fly a kite
2. wish we could ride a choo choo train to a BIG train station.
3. wish we could ride a rocket to Santa Claus's house.
so funny! 3 year olds are the best...if i could freeze time i think right now would be a good time to freeze. I love cuddling with my boys when they are tired, reading them books watching them laugh and run around like crazy! (that is what you get with boys, always CRAZY) I don't know how many times a day I clean up toys in the living room, Red's room, my room and the tv room. AT LEAST 10! Some days I think it would be nice to just have the toys stay put away for a day...but I know I will miss this as they get older (at least that is what I tell myself to not go crazy) Or i should just let them be and clean it all at the end of the night...make me less busy!

First Day of Preschool

Well yesterday was Reddek's first day of Preschool! Ruel above eating cereal...he is so cute:)





Red eating his cereal...he was so excited for preschool. He ate all his breakfast so he could grow big to show his friends at school! Standing by the door so excited and looking so handsome! He did great his first day made friends...told his class all about him playing baseball all summer with his dad. I love this kid he is such a good boy listens and just loves everyone! He told me after school that he is a good friend he doesn't hit anybody, he shares his toys, and he listens. Good job Red. LOVE YOU:)

WoW i Am So BeHiNd!!!

This summer has been one of my best! We have been busy having fun:) We finished the summer at a bee's game...Reddek was so excited to have the bee sign his hat again.

The summer began with swimming lessons. This was Red's first year, he was a little hesitant at first but ended great! We are proud of him. Ruel and I took a mommy and me class it was really fun. I even know how to dunk him now.
Red is a good little swimmer but doesn't love the water on his face...little brother on the other hand is a fish. He LOVES the water.




After swimming lessons T-ball started...Red doesn't like when we call it T-ball it is baseball! He loves baseball and he is a good little hitter and runner. We enjoyed watching him. He still asks if it is baseball again yet...poor kid has a while to wait.


We LOVE the 4th of July! We go down to Manti every year and hang with Jason's family. This year they played at the Manti park. It is one of my favorite times during the summer, we relax have TONS of fun with family makin memories...doesn't get better than that!

Red loves sparklers, and we love watching him enjoy life. He gets so excited about almost everything and always brings a smile to our faces.

They also love just hangin in our back yard. Getting wet running around and just laughing. I can't think of anything better to listen to than my little guys playing and laughing. I have enjoyed my summer with my boys. I was scared with a baby I wouldn't be able to do things but we stayed VERY busy this summer. Weekly trips to the library, bike rides, runs, walks, and laying on the grass looking at clouds. This summer was one of my best! Now ready to be a little more busy but that is ok I will still make time for my FAVORITE BOYS:)


Boys will be boys....only 3 years old and they want to already be the best the fastest and always want to WIN!

So what do we do on a SNOWY day at the end of MAY?

Build a tent hut and read books...

We woke up to snow today yes May 24th it is snowing and sticking. I didn't let the weather get me down (i am working on my attitude) i thought what could we possibly do today?!? So we built a hut ate breakfast in it, then ventured to the library to get lots of new books and spent the afternoon reading with the flashlight in the tent hut. Reddek absolutely loved it! Ruel is fine with whatever we got goin on so he was happy:)

Ruel also started sitting today:) HOORAY...happy May everyone. Hopefully the sun will come stay SOON!!!

6 MoNtHs AlReAdY

Rulon is already 6 months old...how time flies:) He is such a cute GOOD baby boy. Really he doesn't fuss much at all, I AM SO LUCKY!!! I don't know how I have managed to get good easy babies (probably because the man above knows I can't handle too much) We are so happy Ruel is happy and a healthy baby. He was 50% in height and only 20% in weight...I sounded kind of shocked when the Dr said he was only in the 20% on weight and he asked jokingly "do you expect to have big kids?" looking at my 5' nothing frame and my 3 yr old that is probably lower than that on the charts. So for our fam he is growing just at the right rate:) actually big for us!

We are so lucky to have him as one of our little ones to take care of. He has a sweet spirit I know he is going to grow up to be someone great:)

I am sitting in a quiet house...yes weird cause I have two little boys:) They are both sleeping. I love watching them sleep and be totally relaxed. I love to dream up what they will be where they will go and what they will do in life. I am so blessed to have these two cute boys! A good friend reminded me that they aren't mine only mine to borrow and whenever they are needed home they will go. I treasure each moment I have with them...really life doesn't get better than it is. I love to love on them chase them listen to them laugh watch them play and one of the best watch them sleep:) Happy Friday everyone...ENJOY YOUR KIDS!

fUn EaStEr WeEkEnD

This Easter we had lots of fun:) I didn't take any pictures didn't charge my batteries...so long and boring post! seriously you don't have to read kind of like a jounal entry for my memories...just warning you.

The fun all started Friday April 2nd...Reddek has two special cousins that we are lucky enough to live by, and they had b-day parties on Friday. His Favorite Friend Avery turned 4 on the 4th which was Sunday so she had a friend party Friday afternoon. Reddek hasn't been to many friend parties but he LOVED it! His Best Bud Collyn turned 3 on Friday the 2nd, and he had a party Friday night which Red also LOVED. Reddek knew it was going to be a fun day...he started right when he woke up "mom can we go to the parties yet?" it was so cute but the first party didn't even start until 2 pm...so it made for a long morning. Finally time to go to the first party...Reddek was so excited, we let him pick out their presents (of course he got them a bat and ball, he is obsessed with baseball ) so he was so ready to give them their presents. It was fun to watch 3 and 4 year olds play at the party. Andria did such a great job had just enough activities and yummy cup cakes. The kids had a blast!!! We went home and I knew he was so tired so I made him nap before Collyn's party. He woke up ready to party again...he headed right for sprite and pizza at Collyn's his two favorite things ( other than sugar ) It was so cute these two boys have grown up together ever since they were born. Shannon and I have swapted babysitting while we work so literally together all day everyday like brothers! So as Collyn was opening his presents he would pull out a toy and then the next one say "oh this is for Reddek" it was super cute they are best buddies (of course they fight like brothers too). We love both of these kids so much and are so lucky to be close enough to watch them grow! I can't believe how old they are getting:( makes me sad...but they are both so cute and I am glad we got to share their special days with them!
Saturday we woke up bright and early to head down south to my parents...suppose to be to Manti park at 9:30am for the Easter egg hunt! Well we didn't make it, it was snowing on our way down and left a little late but it was fine a little cold anyway to be out hunting for eggs. We colored eggs at my parents played on the swings and slide, ate yummy yummy food and got to enjoy listening to some conference. My mom always over does it on the delicious food so I think we gained 5 lbs while there! In my family it is a tradition to roll eggs down a hill ( represents the rock rolling away from the tomb, i don't know if anyone else does this Jason never has ) so we went to the res. and found a nice little hill rolled eggs and just relaxed by the lake throwing rocks and chatting. It was such a nice day to visit with my family and let the kids play. I am so thankful for all my wonderful family and missed the ones that weren't able to be there...but it was a great day:)
Sunday we slept in, ok with 2 kids under 4 sleeping in is like 7:30 am but we stayed in comfy clothes made flat pancakes and eggs watched conference and ate breakfast. It was such a good uplifting conference and i love sitting in my pjs holding one of my boys and just relaxing while getting uplifted. Reddek was so good I really feel like we didn't miss anything he just watched with us and colored we are so lucky to have a good kid:) This was a perfect Easter day...Remembering the Savior and all the great things he did in his life for us. I just loved it:) Later that day Jason's mom had dinner. It was so delish...she made roast potatoes and all the yummy sides to go with it. 3 out of the 4 brothers live in the ranches (aren't we lucky:) and the little sister lives in AF so we all got together at his moms. I often think of how lucky we are to be so close to family it makes life good! It was a good time eating chatting and kids playing...life couldn't get better! Aunt Julie was so cute and did an Easter egg hunt for all the little ones it made their day ( more candy hooray ). This is how we spent our Easter weekend. I don't think we could do anything better than hanging with some of our loved ones:) HOpe EvEryOne HaD a NiCE EASTER!!!

pRaYeRs

So this little guy is such a cutie! He knows how to say a prayer...but some nights we must bribe him. We have talked to him about prayers and that Heavenly Father will answer your prayers and you can prayer no matter where you are...if you are somewhere scared, if you need help to find something so on. He says great prayers blesses all his friends sometimes everyone he knows. He is very reverent during his prayers. It has been fun to see him learn and grow, but he has said some funny things in his prayers to get what he wants...

"please bless daddy will lay by me"
"please bless we can have cookies tomorrow"
"please bless I can have some chocolate milk"
"please bless jesus" after that prayer he said "mom I just blessed Jesus!" he was so excited...funny.
one night we were playing with him and jason said red don't grow up k! so that night in his prayer "please bless I don't grow up and bless daddy don't grow up"
He is so fun! He has learned how to ride his big boy bike...and won't go a day without ridding it. If it is too cold he brings it in and rides on the wood. He is such a joy and he is growing up too fast. He can button his own shirts get dressed completely by himself. He is a good example to all of us in this house. He is always good to do what we ask. Today after church Jason was at meetings and I had a bad head ache I was laying down with Ruel and he cleaned up all his toys...excited he came in whispered "mom does your head still hurt? I just cleaned up my toys you want to come see?" I love this boy!!! I can't wait to see him and ruel run around together...but i know that will come soon enough i am enjoying them while they are little:)

~4 months old~

This cute stud is my lil man at 4 months old! He makes life fun...well him and his older brother. He is such a chill baby.

I feel so lucky to be the mom of two great boys. Jason and I talk often about how lucky we are to have such cute good boys. Their spirits are such special ones. Rulon makes me want to be a better mom everyday. Reddek is such a good big brother loves to watch him talk to him and keep him smilin! The McCaul's are doing good keepin busy and lovin the warm weather...Reddek LOVES baseball so we take advantage of the good weather and play ball all day and night inside or outside. Can't wait to see Ruel as he grows...I think he will be a pretty chill kid pretty easy to please:)
